Wine Spectator OperaWine: Castello di Albola is one of the best wineries in Italy
Castello di Albola has been elected as one of the 103 best Italian wineries by Wine Spectator, an illustrious specialized magazine.
It has been announced by Bruce Sanderson during the 2019 edition of Wine2Wine.
As usual, the award ceremony will take place next year at OperaWine, the exclusive event that opens Vinitaly kermesse in 2012, scheduled for April 18.
Castello di Albola is located in Radda in Chianti, Tuscany, the most represented region in this selection with 24 companies. Wine Spectator‘s director, Tom Matthews, explained the desire to create a selection of wineries that show “the diversity of Italian wines, emphasizing native grapes and historical producers, encouraging emerging regions and rising stars”.
